Fundados em 1990, na Alemanha, por Artaud Seth e Pisacane. Pisacane saiu após o lançamento do primeiro álbum "Enki's Temple" (1991). O conceito básico seria lançar sete álbuns, cada um com sete temas e depois dissolver a banda. Foi isso que aconteceu depois de "Paradise" (1997); para trás ficaram trabalhos como "Sargonid Seal" (1993) e "Necromanteion IV" (1994).
Depois de projectos algo falhados, Artaud Seth reuniu a banda em 2000. A partir de 2005, surgiram sob o nome "GOD featuring Lutherion" e assim lançaram três discos: "Lutherion I", "Lutherion II" e "Lutherion III".
Em Agosto de 2007, anunciaram que iriam terminar mais uma vez e, em Outubro desse ano, foi lançado "Darkest Hour", o último disco de Garden Of Delight. O DVD "Last Concert" (2009) é a «celebração» do fim.
Garden Of Delight pode ter desaparecido da Terra, mas Artaud Seth continuou com um novo projecto, de nome Merciful Nuns, que certamente será falado neste blog.

The band was founded in 1990, in Germany, by Artaud Seth and Pisacane. Pisacane left after their debut release "Enki's Temple" (1991). The basic concept would be launch seven albums, each one with seven songs and then dissolve the band. That's what happened after "Paradise" (1997); behind we can find such works as "Sargonid Seal" (1993) and "Necromanteion IV" (1994).
After some failed projects, Artaud Seth met the band again in 2000. Starting in 2005, they appeared under the name "GOD featuring Lutherion" and so released three albums: "Lutherion I", "Lutherion II" and "Lutherion III".
In August 2007, they announced that they shall go again and finish. In October of the same year, it was launched "Darkest Hour", the latest Garden Of Delight album. The DVD "Last Concert" (2009) is the «celebration» of the end.
Garden Of Delight may have vanished from the Earth, but Artaud Seth continued with a new project, called Merciful Nuns, which will surely be talked about in this blog.
